SLT’s management and operations team offers decades of experience in logistics activities in the Port of Gioia Tauro. We strongly believe that to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients one of the key factors is the preparadness of our staff, to which we pay the highest attention.
OPERATIONAL FACILITIES
has an area of 50000 square metres with 10000 square metres of customs warehouses for the stocking of goods (including foodstuffs). We also have 2 temperature controlled cold storage rooms (+0° e +15°) with a 10000 square metre capacity for the storage of fresh fruit and nuts, 35 plug-ins for reefer containers to guarantee a secure storage for large quantities of goods. Our warehouses are securely located in the customs area of the port. Our facilities are also equipped with closed-circuit video surveillance systems. SLT has 3 reach stackers, trucks and trailers for empty and full container handling, diesel and electric forklifts, pallet trucks and electrical reach trucks for cargo handling, all equipped with 4.0 technology and a weighbridge up to 60 tons.
